The system is built around a 100w solar panel, supplied with a sturdy, adjustable aluminium stand for ground or flat roof mounting. This multi-position bracket ensures optimal sunlight capture throughout the year. The solar panel connects directly to the weatherproof battery box, which houses a high-performance 85Ah sealed deep cycle solar battery and a 20Ah charge controller.
The battery output connects to the included 300w inverter, featuring a UK 3-pin socket for powering standard mains appliances via a multi-gang extension cable (not supplied). A dedicated 12v 'power out' plug and socket within the battery box enables direct use of 12v devices.
The Solar Power Station 500 generates up to 600 watt-hours per day, typically powering lighting and multiple appliances for two to four hours daily. For extended run times or increased power needs, consider upgrading to the Hubi Solar Power Station Classic 750 or adding a Power Station Expansion Kit.
