Which courier can I expect the delivery to come with?

Once we have picked and packed your order, our team will assign a courier to your order based on the size of the order and any requirements for delivery. Typically, they are assigned as follows:

  • Small Item Deliveries: These tend to arrive via Royal Mail
  • Pallet Deliveries: These typically arrive via Vallance or one of their fleet partners. Pallets can also be dispatched via FedEx.
  • All other deliveries will be dispatched by FedEx.

Will I be given tracking information?

We will always send you a copy of your tracking information if this has been provided by the courier. This will be issued to you via email after your order has been dispatched.

Please note that we are unable to provide tracking information on pallet deliveries.

What if my goods arrived damaged or missing?

If you do not receive your full order, please check your tracking information to make sure that your order is not arriving in multiple parcels or shipments. If you believe an item has been missed or lost in transit, please contact our dispatch team on 01752 656270 and they will be able to help you.

If your goods arrive damaged or broken, please follow the below steps:

  • Please notify the courier that has delivered your goods of the damage so they can report it.
  • Please take any relevant pictures of the goods as they arrive, before you have unpacked them. Please note that images of damage must include pictures of the packaging.
  • If you need to open the goods to assess damage, please do so and then take pictures of the damage.
  • Please email all images and any other relevant information to sales@batsol.co.uk where one of our team will be happy to help you.

Please ensure that any damaged goods must be reported to us by 5pm the next working day.

If you do not receive your goods:

  • If your goods have not arrived, or have been declared as arrived but you have not received them, please contact us as soon as possible to notify us of this.
  • Upon being informed that goods have not arrived, we will open an investigation into your delivery.
  • During the investigation, we will gather information from yourself and the courier and try to work out what has happened. Please be advised that this will likely take between 7-10 days from the notification of goods being missing. During this time, we will be unable to progress your case further due to insufficient information.
  • Once we have gathered all of the information, we will respond to you with a case closure.

Please note that all deliveries must be signed for on receipt of goods. Due to the nature of our products, we do not allow for deliveries to be left in a safe location. If changes are made to the delivery after we have dispatched them (adjustments to address, safe place etc), please be advised that Batteries and Solar will not be liable for any losses that occur.

Please be aware that you will need to notify us of all Damage In Transit claims and shortages within 48 hours of the goods being received.
