The charger features two outputs, one for the main battery bank and a second, lower-output (4A) for topping up a starter battery. This makes it perfect for systems with dual battery banks. In addition, the Skylla-TG charger allows the voltage to be precisely adjusted to suit the specific battery requirements, ensuring safe charging for both sealed and unsealed batteries.
The charger uses a microprocessor-controlled three-step charging process (IUoUo), ensuring rapid charging while safeguarding battery life. Additionally, temperature compensation helps extend battery life by automatically adjusting the charging voltage based on the battery temperature. This feature is particularly beneficial for sealed batteries, which can suffer from overcharging and damage if the temperature rises.
The charger is also capable of being used as a power supply in systems where batteries or large capacitors are not available, delivering stable and regulated output voltage.
