The Skylla-TG 24/50 incorporates a microprocessor-controlled charging system that uses the IUoUo characteristic to quickly and safely charge the batteries, offering superior performance compared to other charging methods.
This charger includes an integrated battery temperature sensor that adjusts the charging voltage automatically based on the battery temperature, helping to prevent overcharging and potential damage to sealed batteries. The voltage sense facility compensates for any voltage loss due to cable resistance, ensuring that the battery receives the correct charge voltage every time.
The Skylla-TG 24/50 is capable of operating as a stable power supply when batteries or large buffer capacitors are unavailable, and it can be used for both AC and DC supply (except for 3-phase models). Its IP21 protection ensures it is well-suited for demanding environments, including marine, off-grid, and RV applications.
