The Victron MultiPlus 12/1200/50-16 230V VE.Bus is designed to replace the earlier MultiPlus Compact range, offering superior performance in a single, sleek package. This inverter charger delivers uninterrupted AC power with its UPS function, ensuring smooth power transition in the event of grid failure. The adaptive charge technology allows the unit to intelligently manage battery charging, maintaining the longevity and health of your batteries.

With a high-speed AC transfer switch, the MultiPlus can detect power failures and switch to the inverter within 20 milliseconds, providing uninterrupted operation for sensitive devices like computers. It also boasts remote monitoring and control, allowing you to easily manage your system via the free VRM app and VRM portal.

The MultiPlus can operate in parallel with up to six units for increased power output and supports three-phase capability for industrial setups. The PowerAssist feature ensures that your shore or generator power is supplemented with power from the battery when needed, ensuring continuous operation without overloading your power source.

Features of the MultiPlus 12/1200

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)

In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Remote Monitoring and Control

When coupled with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to auto starting a backupgenerator and more…”

Parallel Operation and Three Phase Capability

Up to six Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output.

In addition to parallel connection, three units can be configured for three-phase output

PowerAssist – Boosting the Capacity of Shore or Generator Power

This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
