The Victron MultiPlus 12/800 is the perfect combination of advanced features and compact design. It integrates a true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger, and a high-speed AC transfer switch for seamless operation. The MultiPlus is capable of providing uninterrupted AC power in the event of a grid failure, switching to inverter mode in less than 20 milliseconds—ensuring that electronic devices continue running without disruption.

With remote monitoring and control via the VRM app and web portal, you can manage and adjust the MultiPlus 12/800 system both locally and remotely. Whether on your phone, tablet, or computer, you can monitor your power system anywhere in the world. The system is highly scalable, supporting parallel operation of up to six units to increase output, and it also offers three-phase capability when three units are connected.

The PowerAssist feature boosts the capacity of shore power or generators by supplementing power with battery energy when demand exceeds available supply. When demand decreases, it ensures the battery is recharged using the spare power.

Features of the MultiPlus 12/800

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)

In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Remote Monitoring and Control

When coupled with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to auto starting a backupgenerator and more…”

Parallel Operation and Three Phase Capability

Up to six Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output.

In addition to parallel connection, three units can be configured for three-phase output

PowerAssist – Boosting the Capacity of Shore or Generator Power

This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
